How else would you announce a new “South Park” video game than with a talking toilet paper dispenser?
“South Park,” perhaps the modern gold standard of potty humor, just dropped a trailer for its upcoming video game “South Park: Snow Day!” which comes in a collectible edition that includes a snow globe, a beanie, six tarot cards, and a toilet paper holder that speaks in Cartman’s voice.
According to IGN, the whole kit costs $219.99.
Video game releases often come with collectible editions. Those collectible editions often blend print and promotional products through apparel, packaging, and more. In this case, the creators got especially creative by not only playing into the snowy theme of the game with the snowglobe, and bringing the in-game universe to life with Cartman’s real beanie, but also going the extra mile with something “South Park” fans will want to keep as a collectible for a long time.
A talking toilet paper roll is a conversation starter, that’s for sure.
